GroupLink: Dave’s Story

I’ve participated in GroupLink three times and each time I’ve found a group of great guys who have contributed to my walk with Christ. Initially, I looked at Community Groups as the first step in developing a daily and weekly routine for time in the Bible, so I showed up to GroupLink with an open mind and a flexible schedule.

God honored that step and provided me with some great guys. Soon after that group ended, I found myself in some tough circumstances and struggling with my place in life. I knew that, once again, I needed to find some men who were at a similar stage of life and looking to be involved both in and out of the small group. I’m certain that God answered my prayers again when I attended GroupLink a second time. He brought the right men into my life at just the right time.

Having solid friends to hold me accountable, to encourage me through my struggles, and to pray with me in times of need, has had an amazing impact on my personal life and my relationship with Christ. I strongly encourage everybody to go to GroupLink, join a community group, and be open to what God has for you. You never know who he will bring into your life. The impact can be huge.
