I have been a member of Buckhead Church and a Waumba Land volunteer for almost 3 years. The past 2 years have been really hard on my family because due to immigration, my husband is stuck in Mexico and I am forced to be a single parent. I am also an unemployed full time student living off my disability. Recently, I’ve had to make a tough decision of removing my 14 year old daughter from the home because after 3 years of individual and family counseling, as well as going back and forth to juvenile court, she refused to follow my rules and be disrespectful. However, every Sunday when I walk into Waumba Land, I feel loved and I know that even though I am not able to pay my tithes I am giving back through volunteering. Being able to give relief to families so they can enjoy the service makes my heart flutter. I love Buckhead Church and the atmosphere it has provided for me and my family.
Oour church is beginning a new class for young families and I anted to reccommend this seies to the teacher but can’t seem to find the series by jus going to future family.org. Is it available on DVD or CD for purchase? Thank you for your help.

HI Doris,
It typically takes a couple weeks before a series is out on DVD. We should have it around the beginning of October so you will be able order it at http://store.northpoint.org/.
This series was awesome! I agree with about 99% of everything said by Andy Stanley and his wife. I recommend every family listen to this series. I love how they said we are smart enough to adapt it to our personal circumstance. I have mentioned it to five other families so far ranging from single moms to common families. A lot of the sermon with Andy’s wife is in the talks about dedicating your child to Christ. Again, I cannot recommend this series enough! Listen to it.
