Food Drive Surpasses Goal!
Wow! Our attendees never cease to amaze us. This was our first Summer Food Drive for Buckhead Christian Ministry, and it far exceeded expectations.
Drum roll, please.
We had hoped to feed 250 families for one week with the food we collected. Our church donated enough food and money to feed 331 families for a week! Amazing! That totals 9500 lbs. or 4.75 tons of food and $6,530 donated all in one Sunday.
Thank you, thank you, for continuing to pour out generosity on our city. Here are a few pictures that capture an incredible day, from volunteers receiving donations, to middle schoolers sorting food, to empty shelves filling up at Buckhead Christian Ministry!
