Food Drive THIS Sunday, July 15

Thank you, thank you, for continuing to be such a generous church. We have yet another way for you to help serve the community and our Intersect partner, Buckhead Christian Ministry (BCM). For the first time, we are hosting a Summer Food Drive this Sunday, July 15.

Did you know that summertime is when the demand for food can be the highest? During the school year, children from low-income families can receive up to two free meals a day at school. But for summer break, the working poor must provide those meals without the extra income to do so. At BCM, donations are also the lowest during the summer months. That creates a huge need . . . a need YOU can help meet!

Our goal for our Summer Food Drive is to feed 250 families for one week. Below is a shopping list of most-needed groceries. We’d love for you to partner with us by purchasing a few of these items and bringing them to church with you this Sunday. We will have drop-off locations and volunteers at each of our entrances to assist you.
