BC Music Spotlight: Nate Robinson
Do you ever want to know a little more about the folks playing on stage at Buckhead Church on Sundays?
We thought so.
That is why, from time to time, we are going to be tossing up a quick Q&A with our worship leaders and musicians. This week, we’re pleased to introduce you to . . .
Nate Robinson, Drummer
Hometown: Houston, Texas

What exactly do you do on Sundays at BC?
I play drums and try to keep up with these great musicians here. I’ve been playing for Buckhead Church for about two years.
What are some of your favorite things that go on ”behind the scenes” at Buckhead Church that the average attendee would not see?
I’m a structure junky, so I like observing the well-oiled machine that is Buckhead Church production—in preparation and in action.
What has been your favorite event you have been involved in here?
I loved being a part of the Christmas pre-service music this year with Jaime Portee.
I’m happily married to Traci Robinson and proud father of three daughters: Tricia, Jersey, and Maci. My only son is my mini schnauzer, Gradie!
What do you do when you’re not at Buckhead Church?
My wife and I own and operate Music Life Studio where we provide in-home music lessons in most instruments and in voice. I am also the full-time drummer for Christian hip-hop artist, Lecrae.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
God-fearing. Committed. Driven.
