Preparing for Night of Worship
We’re looking forward to Thursday’s Night of Worship. Here are a few things you can do to prepare for the night:
- Please read Zephaniah 3:17. Maybe print this verse out and carry it around with you for two days. Keep it somewhere you can see it frequently.
- Pray for our time together, specifically for Jesus to be glorified and for you to walk away renewed, challenged and encouraged.
- Pray for our community, especially those who do not know Jesus.
- Pray for those who will be there Thursday.
- Start worshipping God now with how you live today. We don’t have to wait until Thursday night to start worshipping.
Can’t wait. See you soon.

Wow! Last night was awesome! There is nothing like a group of people coming together and proclaiming the greatness of our God. It wasn’t about the music, though it was totally off the chain, it was about our great and awesome God. Who IS mighty to save….not “could be”, “was”, or “will be”…but “IS” mighty to save. What an amazing statement! There is no implication in the verse that God’s power will diminish or eventually will reach some sort of plateau, or even limited to a certain group of people…His power just “IS”!!!!
