But my wife flosses, every night, every morning. She is meticulous taking care of her teeth. I brush but almost never floss. When we lived in Chicago a few years ago, our dentist chewed her out for not taking care of her teeth and gums, in spite of the fact that she takes very good care of her teeth and gums (not listening to a word she said.) Then proceeded 10 minutes later to tell me that it really shows that floss every day (I don't.) Not only did it not help us for our dentist to chew her out, we haven't been back to the dentist since.
