I could relate to what you shared and found it inspiring. I was fasting from something I enjoyed, but felt it wasn't that difficult and decided I wanted more of God. I wasn't prepared to do a Daniel fast at the beginning of the year. I start this weekend and have found myself calling out to God more often. This is much more difficult for me and I find myself praying for his strength often. I pray he will create a desire in me to live my life in total dependence to him. Thank you.
