FREE SONG-PREPARING FOR OUR NIGHT OF WORSHIP
I believe Thursday night will be a significant step in our journey together as a church. We are gathering to worship, pray, celebrate communion and complete our 21-day journey of fasting and prayer.
To prepare us for the evening, we are sending you this free song from the group “Unhindered.” They will be leading worship Thursday and this is one of the songs we will sing together. You can prepare for the night by listening and learning the words to this song. It is our prayer for Thursday evening.
Glory. Honor. Power. All belong to our Great God.

We’re almost there, Jeff! So excited about what God will reveal to us as we gather to worship Him together on Thursday! Thanks to you and all the staff at Buckhead Church who have encouraged us thru the blogs over the past 19 days and counting.

Well, the “discomfort and inconvenience” of our fasting was amplified this morning. We woke up with a flooded sunroom, a flooded garage and a flooded breakfast area. Oh, btw, it didn’t rain last night… So, after cutting off the main water line, Christy and I are having to put more effort into staying hydrated and also maintain our frequent trips to some sort of restroom. God is in control, but I’d really like a hamburger right now.

Glenn and wife, hand in there.
God will be glorified in everything that’s going on while we fast.
Just wait and see.
In the mean time praise him.
Backing you up in prayer.

Glenn — I hate that, but I like what Mercedes wrote. Praying for the Turners!

All of the sudden my car that hadn’t had problems in a while broke down on my way to pick up my daughter to school.
Thank God I had a friend that let me use her car and another friend will pay the towing. We will go from there.
I prayed and thanked God for all the years that He took us safely in that car to places and I prayed that He will let us fix it. But mostly I thanked Him that I was able to praise Him and be joyful because I KNOW that He takes care of us and even if it broke down God will always have something better for us.
For now I know that the fact that I was joyful, that change in my attitude only comes from Him and probably right there is the biggest blessing. The car… well, read Matthew 6:33
