Looking Back on 2009-do.justice

One of the highlights for our singles ministry in 2009 was the event do.justice. do.justice is a movement of Atlanta singles to provide assistance to those in need and breathe new hope into communities around the city, and in April our singles did exactly that. Over 1000 Atlanta singles came together and joined forces with twenty-three of our city’s most strategic nonprofit organizations and participated in forty-one service projects – from cleaning to yard work, meal delivery to childcare – over 3,000 hours of service were completed, the equivalent to a year and a half of full time work. All in one day!

As we look ahead into 2010, we are already looking foward to the next do.justice event on April 17, 2010 and are planning to have an even larger impact on our city!
