Thank you for cheering during baptisms. It’s much more important than a football game.
Thank you for taking a risk by inviting your friends, co-workers and neighbors to church. Eternity often hangs in the balance with that phone call you make, the email you send or a simple invitation to join you one Sunday.
Thank you for reading books to the students at Woodson Elementary, restocking the food pantry at Buckhead Christian Ministries, delivering meals for Project Open Hand, caring for the homeless at Atlanta Union Mission and so much more.
Thank you for purchasing hundreds of mattresses for victims of the Atlanta floods.
Thank you for traveling internationally to 22 different locations this year to encourage, lead and support your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
Thank you for understanding that it’s not about Buckhead Church. It’s about reaching Buckhead for Christ.
Thank you for opening up your homes, apartments, condos or dorm rooms to lead a small group. Our church is not limited to Sunday.
Thank you for serving. For caring. For giving. For staying focused on Jesus and the mission He has given us as a church.
For these and so many other reasons, thank you.

I was baptized this past Sunday and just wanted to share with you that I had about 40 people in attendance – nearly half of them being friends and family who do not attend church. I have heard from a few who say that they were really impressed and really enjoyed Andy’s message. I took my younger brother and his wife on a tour of Waumba land (I coach during the 11:00 service), and I could see the excitement in their faces and knew thoughts were going through their minds about how their kids would have so much fun there.
There were a million things that I wanted to share through my baptism video, but obviously could not in such a short period of time. However, I know that the Lord is working through me to bring people to know him and experience the love and acceptance that I have received through attending Buckhead Church.
I think your messages are great, as well, and am happy that you are one of our leaders! Thank you for your encouragement and support of Waumba Land! Come visit us during the 11:00 hour when you get a chance!
