There’s a reason that we’re all drawn to a good book or movie…we’re captivated by the story.

We get swept away amidst the twists and turns of the plot; wondering if the main character will come out victorious, knowing all along that it will likely resolve happily after 2 hours or 250 pages. We walk away envisioning our own life following a similar suit…full of adventure, excitement, maybe even romance. But then somewhere along the road between disappointment and heartache, we often find ourselves trapped in a life of mediocrity…sound familiar?

That’s precisely where New York Times bestselling author Donald Miller found himself at the beginning of his latest book, A Million Miles in a Thousand Years.

On December 5th, Donald will be speaking at A Christmas Story, our Singles Christmas event, about living a story worth telling and the experiences which shaped his latest work.

Singles from Buckhead Church, Browns Bridge Community Church & North Point Community Church will come together for an inspirational night of great laughs and entertainment. Along with Donald, we’ll hear from actor and comedian Susan Isaacs.

If you’re single, we hope you’ll plan to join us. The cost of this event is $20 per person, and it will take place at North Point Community Church. You can purchase your tickets here: www.achristmastory.org.

And as an early Christmas gift, here’s a sneak peek into a couple of chapters from his new book FREE! http://tinyurl.com/yeooezd

We hope to see you there!
