NEW This Fall For Married Couples
Want to be the first to know about some NEW initiatives coming up for Married Couples at Buckhead Church this Fall? Well read on… we’ve got some exciting news to fill you in on and can’t wait for you to join in and be a part of it!
Earlier this year we surveyed married couples across all three of our Metro-Atlanta campuses and based on two primary pieces of feedback, we are planning to pilot two new initiatives:
- A Marriage Conference! – Yep. Many, many, many of you asked for it and we are responding with a two day event October 2-3. The conference will be broadcast live between Buckhead Church and North Point Community Church with author of the best selling book, “Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage,” Mark Gungor. Mark’s marriage seminars help couples deal with tough issues in a safe, non-threatening manner, using laughter to help open hearts and change lives. Click here for a clip from one of Mark’s talks.
- Fusion for Married Adults – 90% of married individuals who completed our survey indicated that they would like to participate in an environment where they could develop “new friendships” with other couples within the church. For those of you who attended Fusion in the past as a Single Adult you are aware that Fusion is an environment created for people to make friends, connect around topics relevant to their lives and take a next step into a smaller environment. New this fall we are creating Fusion gatherings specifically for Married Adults. These gatherings will consist of about 20-25 couples in homes around the Atlanta area and will be based on age/stage of life and area of town. These gatherings will take place four times over the course of two months with the first gathering planned to launch on October 25.

Thank you so much for hosting the marriage conference! We both had a fun time learning about the issues of marriage in a non confrontational way. We needed this… and so does every other married couple. Bring Mark Gungor back again!
