One of the reasons we’re doing this series is that we’ve heard so many stories of people waiting. Waiting for the economy to turn-around. Waiting for a job. Waiting for a spouse, a baby. Waiting.

Um have you read my mail? I am waiting on a job. I am waiting on God to lead me to my wife. I’m waiting on my house to sell. God is faithful and His ways are not our ways.

I am waiting on a decision about graduate school. My wife and I have been trying to plan for an uncertain future for almost 6 months. We pray for an answer and provisions when we get there.

Wow, is that spot on with my life or what? I’m waiting on direction…..some sense of why I’m at a standstill in my life and which way I’m to go…and what I’m supposed to be doing in the meantime. Money is tight, jobs are few, and self confidence is fleeting. I’ve got an idea for a business that’s got me intrigued about possibilities, but I have no idea if it’s what I’m meant to do. You can pray about all that! And thanks!!

So glad to see this series is coming. It’s been one of our discussions at small group lately. What does “waiting” really mean? How long do you have to “wait” before you really are “waiting”? What to do while you’re “waiting”? When is it time to “do your part”? etc. Can’t wait for Sunday!

I am waiting for Andy to return – my husband starting coming to BC and was very moved by Andy. Didn’t like message from others. I have been waiting and praying for 20 years for him to find Christ and now am waiting for God to soften his heart.

I am waiting for this series! It seems very timely for my current life challenges / opportunities. I am waiting for direction in my career, direction for my personal life and knowing what’s next, and most of all just waiting on learning what God has in store for me.

I just read JoK’s comment. I have only been married thirteen months, and we are waiting on our first child (due in 11 days). I am in awe that JoK has been waiting and praying for 20 years for God to soften her husband’s heart and for him to find Christ. I hope I can last……..
