A Good Problem to Have
Buckhead is known as a singles church since more than 65% of the folks who attend here are single. Imagine our surprise earlier this year when we quickly starting running out of room in Waumba Land, our environment for pre-schoolers. (I guess this means our singles are meeting and getting married!)
Today, we started building additional space in order to accommodate more children here at Buckhead. The construction should be done within the next few weeks, and we are working hard to make sure it doesn’t impact what happens on Sundays in Waumba. To that point, feel free to offer thanks to our Waumba staff and volunteers who work so hard to create a great experience for our pre-schoolers and their families.

Hi Waumba Land Staff and Volunteers! Thank you for being a HUGE part of our son’s lives each week. It is fantastic to have such a predictable environment fully staffed with friendly faces that miss us when we aren’t there. We cant say enough. Good luck with the renovations. We’ll see you on Sunday!

We love our rooms’ volunteers! Both children are always quite excited to visit every Sunday (one tells us verbally; the other telepathically).

Waumba Land Staff and Volunteers, thank you for doing what you do. My wife and I don’t have small children how ever we do invite people who do and we can confidently tell the them not to worry about the little ones. Thank You! You guys are a huge part of our church!

I got a peak into what all goes into serving each week at Wumbaland, this past Sunday. I can’t say a big enough Thank you to those of you that are serving every week to care for those precious little ones. You are a treasured, indispensable part of Buckhead Church. Our son Carlson absolutely loves Waumba Land- thanks for all you do to make it such a fun and wecoming environment!
