Sunday Recap
Here’s a quick run down of my thoughts from Sunday.
· If you weren’t at the 9 am service, you missed Andy’s impromptu Elton John imitation. The dude’s got some musical skillz. Unfortunately, I think the recording has been stolen so we won’t be able to show it here.
· The response to Part 1 of “Staying in Love” has been phenomenal. We ran out of hand-outs after the 11 a.m. service so you can go here to download a copy: Staying in Love
· KidStuf today was amazing. The closing video about forgiveness was powerful. If you didn’t get a little emotional watching that, please go to the doctor for a heart check-up.
· It was great having Phil Wickham lead us again in worship. You can follow Phil on Twitter at www.twitter.com/philwickham.
· Waumba Land is busting at the seams. We are currently looking at ways to expand the space to accommodate for more children. Of course, we’re only on 2.4 acres so we’ll have to be as creative as we possibly can. :)
· If you were at the 11 am service, I hope you noticed something when Andy asked how many people were at Buckhead for the first time. Dozens of hands went up in the air. Thank you Buckhead for investing in people and taking the risk of inviting them to church. God is using you to lead your friends into a growing relationship with Christ. How cool is that?
Grateful,
Jeff

You really need to get that video on Andy on the blog. No one is going to believe it without proof. I am sure he’ll never know : )

Please, please, please post that video of Andy. I was there and it was fantastic but my parents missed it and I would love for them to see it. He does have some skills!

It has been so much fun watching the “environments” evolve over time at BC. KidStuf has really had some strong performances / messages this year even as the format changed.
Another interesting thought is that while there is a large population of singles at Buckhead, the family ministry area continues to grow and develop as evidenced by the Waumba and UpStreet growth – so exciting to see young families engaging their kids early in truly incredible environments!
Buckhead continues to find new and exciting ways to lead others into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

My 18 year old daughter is getting married on May 25. She and her intended have been “church shopping” because they wanted to start their married life together at a new church.. ( I know, I know, but you have to let them figure it out for themselves, I put it in God’s hands)
I e-mailed my daughter the announcement for this series and just simply commented “what a wonderful thing it would be, the four Sundays before you get married to listen to biblical principles about staying in love”
They decided to come, and loved it. I am praying that this is all they need to see that BC is the best church in Atlanta, and they need to make it their home!
Please pray with me!
Thanks
Their initials are TJ and JT ( can you believe it!)
