The Thin Line
My friend John Woodall began a two-part series Sunday called, “The Thin Line.” I felt strongly we should do this series because I believe we need to better understand the battle that rages inside of us, between sin and the Spirit. When we fail to understand this battle, we either beat ourselves up with guilt or we try to hide. Neither of those approaches is helpful. In fact, both are downright dangerous.
What did you think about what you heard and John’s discussion of the Thin Line?

I love what John said about the time period it takes to cross the line, it’s a “heart beat”. I couldn’t agree more.

It was great.. Interestingly the study we are doing in our community group is James. We actually picked the book before the Balanced series came out, set it aside to do Balanced and just picked it back up. Wow, right on target! Can’t wait for the “good news” next week.

I thought the message was spot on. I think there are issues that the Church isn’t talking about that we need to be talking about and the sermon hit on a lot of those!
