So, what do YOU think?

As many of you know we are constantly evaluating our environments here at Buckhead Church to make sure that they are engaging, helpful, easy to find, easy to navigate… In other words, are they irresistible and relevant to their target audience?

Well, our website is no different. We are taking a look at buckheadchurch.org (and brownsbridge.org and northpoint.org) to evaluate how effective it is at providing the content and communication you need in an engaging manner. We know this is an area that we can improve on, and we would like your input and ideas on how we can make our site better. Are there other sites that do a great job of capturing your attention while providing you beneficial content? What about site navigation? Is it easy to find the information you’re looking for? Would you call it an “irresistible environment?” Is it relevant to you?

Please send us your ideas and we’ll look at incorporating them into our sites.

Thanks!

The Web Team

As a regular attender, I rarely goto the website. For the most up to date info, I can usually find it on peoples blogs or on facebook. I also see it in the announcements that are handed out each sunday. I am sure there is a market to watch previous sermons, but I don’t if I miss. I know a few times, I’d get a email about a singles event and then goto the website to get more info and there wouldn’t be anything on it about the event.

I try to keep up with North Point while away at college. So sometime each week I take time to catch up and to spend time with God through a little midweek church service by myself.

Anyway, the Illusions series includes a worship song at the end (“Lead Me to the Cross”). It was a nice little extra to my personal worship experience.

Why not add a worship song to some of the videos? Specifically if the worship from that service was very relevant to the message.

    Hope this helps!

I know that before the redesign, there was a focus on making NPCC’s Web sites a good resource for church leaders from around the world. I don’t see as much of that now, or maybe I’m just not finding it. But I really enjoyed that content (sample forms, downloads, FAQ’s, etc.).

Also, for a long time, I’ve been urging everyone I know with NPCC to head toward posting video of worship songs each week too (as they used to with 7|22). That would be such a blessing, and this would showcase the quality of your musical and technological components to worship.

i enjoy visiting BC and NP sites regularly, and am a regular attender of NP. I would really love to see more sections of the website, specifically devoted to things such as department galleries, online service bulletins, worship leaders for the services, alerts on new
    :connections products…

i’d also like to know if andy is working on any new books!!

    thanks for the info!

Having the messages online is great, but an improvement in my opinion would be the ability to link directly to a particular message or series (a permanent link would be best). When I want to send one to a friend or family member, the instructions can be quite long just to describe how to get to the specific message that I am referring them to. Frankly, I think the old list format was better in this regard.

I think another area of improvement would be to use the website to better connect people. For example, I think there is real value with small group leaders being able to compare notes, rate small group materials, and share resources. I think the website could enable something like that.

The BC blog is excellent. Please keep that going.

    Hope this helps!

I like the design and layout of the website. I think it gives you all the valuable info up front and allows you to dive in deeper if you want to find out more. the links and navigation are quite simple and effective. The color scheme is quite neutral and does not appeal to one group.
I would like to see other items such as worship videos or items showcasing things that you guys are doing for the first time and the experience. I realize that is why you have a blog but to see new ideas allows other churches to learn from you as well as a platform for you to get outsider feedback.
You guys have a separate website called NPAdmin and perhaps that can be incorporated somehow into the website to offer other church leaders access to the strategies NPM has put in place.
Just a few ideas and thoughts..

    Saludos desde Sevilla, Spain.
Visito con frecuencia la web como una manera de mantenerme conectado con lo que está pasando en Buckhead. Gracias por dejarnos participar. Tengo dos sugerencias.
    1. Navegación más fácil y simple.

    2. Poder visualizar servicios completos con música y media incluidos.
Gracias y un saludo desde Spain.
