Praying for the President
Andy prays for the President.
He asks us to pray for the President.
And today, Andy prayed for the President in front of the President.

Many of you didn’t get to see this today as our senior pastor Andy Stanley prayed for President Obama at the National Prayer Service in Washington, DC. You can watch here, and post a comment telling Andy what a great job he did.
Thanks,
Jeff

I was watching the prayer service – and though I recognize that voice -and looked up to hear you speaking your wonderful words and sitting front row.

[...] What an eventful and historic week we have had in this country. We have had a peaceful transition of power in the most powerful country in the world. We have our first black president. And Andy got to go to Washington DC to pray for our leaders at the National Prayer Service at the National Cathedral. Our leaders and our country need our prayers desperately and I hope that each of you will follow Andy’s example. In case you missed his prayer, there is a video clip that you can watch at http://blog.buckheadchurch.org/2009/01/21/praying-for-the-president/ [...]
