“How’d we get here?” was a question I heard a reporter ask a financial expert about the current economic crisis. It’s a good question. In other words, “What Went Wrong?”
Last Sunday, we began a series looking at this question from the life of King Solomon. This legendary man had so much promise and yet the Bible tells us that his story is one of squandered potential. His life is much more than a lesson from history. It’s a lesson for today. For you and me. For our nation. The Bible graciously provides us with two answers to the question of what went wrong with King Solomon. Last week, we looked at the first answer. This Sunday, we’ll conclude by looking at the second.
As we said last week, the two answers to this question won’t change Solomon’s story. But these answers do have the power to change and protect your story and mine.
So invite a friend Sunday. Pull up a chair. And let’s listen to what God wants to tell us as we look at what went wrong with the wisest man who ever lived.

Jeff:
Thks for the Twitter update on this series…its a great reminder that we need to be ever “mindful” about guarding our hearts and minds against the Enemy.

Thank you Jeff for today’s message~ it was a great reminder of how easy it is to wind up in the place we never thought we’d be! Does anyone know the name of the very last song that was sung at the 9am service this morning? Who is the original artist? I would love to have it on my iPod.

Thanks Rick!
Robin, the closing song is called Home by Phil Wickham on his CD, “Cannons.”
Thanks for the feedback.
