This Sunday, Andy will be wrapping up the series Faith, Hope & Luck. We hope you’ve been tracking with us as Andy has challenged us to rethink the way we define our faith. I think this week would be a GREAT time to invite that friend of yours who may have crossed your mind during this series. Why not JUST ASK them? How about this…I’ll go first. This week, I’m going to Just Ask, and I’ll let you know how it goes. Will you do the same?
And for a little inspiration, here’s a video from the Just Tell booth. What a great story! [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/v/ltC8iXShGZA 425 350]
See you Sunday…

i am curious about the “just ask” videos. we had discussed doing something like a video diary at our church where we have a diary booth set up and people can go in and record their thoughts/feelings/stories, etc.
is the “just ask” thing like that? or is it different?
thanks!

Hi Chris,
The “Just Tell” booth is an old phone booth converted into a video confessional. The idea is that people can hop in the booth and tell us who “Just Ask”ed them to Buckhead Church. We had it in the lobby for a couple months and now it is hanging out with our middle schoolers and high schoolers for a time. We are so excited about the stories we have heard. They inspire us all to Just Ask our friends and neighbors to church. You can find the message that Andy preached called Just Ask in the message archives on the Buckhead Church site.
Thanks for reading!!

…and, I am a product of the person in the video “just asking” me. She asked me for 18 months before I agreed to go (I hadn’t been to church in 10 years) and BC has “revolutionized” my spirituality by building on relationship. Now, I serve on host team. and…I’m asking… it keeps going.
Chris, thanks for the question. The “Just Tell” booth is specifically designed for people to share their story about how they found their way to Buckhead Church, and more importantly, what God has done in their life since then. We took an old phone booth and painted it, fitted with a camera and a laptop to capture the stories and placed it in the main gathering area at Buckhead. Currently, the booth is up in the Student area. Please let me know if you have other questions.
Thanks again.
