Eavesdropping

I got the coolest email last week from one of our incredible volunteers. She was at Lenox Mall and overheard the following conversation. If you’re a volunteer, support Buckhead financially and have chosen to be a part of this community, I want to thank you for helping make conversations like this possible:

“……I was at Anthropologie last night at Lenox Mall when I overheard two employees talking

Employee 1: So my friend started going to Buckhead Church… you go there right??

Employee 2: YESSSS!!! oh my goshhhhhh, i loooooooove it there!!!!!!!!!! it’s just been soooo….. APPLICABLE!

Employee 1: Yeahh…. girl… i know, I can tell you are so happy!!!

Employee 2: You have NO idea… it’s been SUCH a blessing for me… and it’s not even like I’m going because I feel guilty and I have to be in church… It’s just GOOD wisdom… and just what I need every week! I’ve NEVER in my life looked forward to church- I’ve hated it, in fact!!… And now I just can’t wait for Sundays.”
