Yesterday, I had a special reason to be thankful for. It's been 7 months that I'm volunteering in Waumba Land and attending at Buckhead Church. IT'S BEEN AMAZING!!! Whoever knows me, knows that I'm always crying for such joy of being part of this great movement that our church is pioneering in Buckhead. Sometimes people don't like
big churches because they think they'll be only a number in the crowd. In Buckhead Church is completely the opposite. I feel so loved, welcomed and supported by mentors and pastors! They are always available!
Thank you so much guys!!!
P.S Brazilian hugs to everyone =)!

I am thankful for Buckhead Church in so many ways. But in particular for Joann Burns. Even though I haven't seen her in awhile I'm thankful for her letting me volunteer at the front desk when I first started attending the church. She was so welcoming and that just helped me feel right at home. I'm also thankful for Tracey Scholen and the entire Group Life Staff. I can't tell you how many ways my small group has changed my life, but I'm thankful for Tracey in particular for being such an awesome Groups Director and being a great example. She has helped me come to grips with the fact that just because I am a group leader doesn't mean that I'm perfect, that I still have a lot of growing to do and it's ok. God still loves me.

I am thankful for this church and the part it has played in my life over the past 5 years. I dove head first into environments like Starting Point, 722 and a ladies small group all at the same time. It's hard not to feel overwhelmed when you are just coming back to church and trying to get your walk with Christ started. Thank you for the teachers, the volunteers and the leaders who strive to make this place relevant and pray for the congregation and who are transparent with their lives and struggles.

i'm thankful to get to be a part of this place. I'm thankful that i get to hear stories like this: an amazing wife who was passionate for the salvation of her dying father-in-law. she was able to lead him to Christ as he is looking at having only a few days left here on Earth, but now, forever with Jesus! doesn't get much cooler than that. praying for SS and JS in these next few days.

I'm thankful for so much. Here's one new person that I met today that I'm thankful for: Karen Hills. She is a new Fusion Leader and is doing a great, great job according to our Fusion Director Kerri Taylor. Karen is an example of someone who jumped in where she saw a need, led well, and God is blessing her leadership and faithfulness. Thanks Karen!

I am thankful for my wife Claudia for always being be my side, my stepdaughter Cheyenne(who was just baptized about a month ago) for being everything a stepdad could ask for, and Buckhead Church reminding me what a walk with Christ is all about. Thank you for bringing me back to my faith.
